We are looking for very talented Environment Prop Artists to join the Sucker Punch team on a contract. Candidates must be proficient in complex 3D modeling, UV editing, texture placement, creation and editing of layered textures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Modeling and texturing of game environment assets using Autodesk Maya
Creation of realistic looking textures in Substance Designer/Painter, Photoshop and in our proprietary shaders and tools
Learn our production pipeline, methods, and how to implement models into the run-time engine
Models must work within the performance and memory constraints of the game engine and hardware
Willingness and understanding to incorporate gameplay metrics and mechanics
Adhering to production schedules to meet down-stream production needs
Ability to adapt and assume new responsibilities should the need arise
Possible placement of assets into the run-time game environment
Providing feedback to outsourcing
QUALIFICATIONS:
Highly skilled in creating textures and models
Proficient in Maya and Photoshop
Ability to follow art direction critiques and produce results on deadline
A strong artistic sense of shape, proportion, and color
Solid skills in texturing and UV editing
Ability to work well within a team is a must
Sense of collaboration and self-discipline is also a must
Great at receiving and providing feedback
DESIRED SKILLS AND PLUSES:
Knowledge of real-time rendering tech
Experience and skills using ZBrush or other sculpting software
Console development experience
Knowledge of Substance
Outsourcing integration and feedback experience
This is a contract role. As well as open to remote, with varying pay ranges based on geographic location. For example, if you are based out of Seattle, the estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$37.50 - $56.22/hr
