ART- Character Technical Director (fulltime remote)

We are looking for a Character Technical Director to help us meet the visual demands of the Playstation 5. You will play a role in helping develop and support our character rigging and animation pipelines for our latest project. Sucker Punch's games have succeeded because we have wrapped compelling characters and worlds around exciting gameplay. Responsibilities
Prototype/implement rigging and deformation solutions in Maya that uphold our quality bar.
Integrate character assets for the game, including skinning, rigging and simulation setup.
Collaborate with other departments to support rigging and animation needs.
Develop, modify, and support tools and pipelines to streamline the character rigging and animation process.
Qualifications
A reel demonstrating tools, rigging, UI design, and technical ability--including a breakdown of your contributions.
5+ years of experience in games or related field
Expert knowledge of Maya tools and architecture
Proficient with Python scripting in Maya
Bonus Factors
Experience extending/modifying established codebases / pipelines
Solid math skills, with a good understanding of matrices and vectors.
Experience with one of more of the following:
Maya plugin development
Motionbuilder
Houdini
Dynamic simulation (eg. cloth, hair, skin over muscle)
